About Blackett

Blackett Laboratory is the home of Imperial College’s Department of Physics in South Kensington. It is in its iconic Lecture Theatre that we will hold our keynotes and panel discussions. The building has high historical significance in the world of theoretical physics. Indeed, it is the site of Mohammed Abdus Salam’s work on the unification of the weak and electromagnetic forces, as well as Professor Tom Kibble’s work which defined the mechanism by which gauge bosons acquire mass via the Higgs field. Expect some great questions and interesting answers!

About Grange City Hotel

After the conference there will be a chance to socialize and chat with fellow students, professors and corporate representatives in our partnered venue. This beautiful 5-star hotel is perfectly located in London’s Downtown District neighbourhood, within a 10-minute walk of Tower of London, The Gherkin and Tower Bridge. Following our main programme, we will gather here for an unforgettable social networking event. Around drinks and canapés, you will be able to exchange ideas, meet inspiring people and build new friendships.
